Ek in Ek Omkar

Nanakji talked of Ek Omkar , where EK means One and Omkar could mean the Resonance of Om.

I thought Ek would stand for the number One which is followed by 2,3,....

But no. Here Ek also could refer to that perfect state of existence wherein there is no -

1. Feeling or remembrance of I in contra distinction of You;
2. Feeling of Being;
(1 & 2 put together would mean that there is no feeling of I Am;)
3. No concept of Time, that is no yesterday, today and tomorrow. Only this moment exists. Even that I don't know or remember ;
4. Hence no memory of what happened ;
5. No concept of space as there is no concept of existence and non existence.

Hard to explain...

The Indweller keeps trying to reveal itself thru the Ek. But I am scared. I like this world of Manyness. I exist. I am happy. I have a plan for the future. It is so beautiful and secure here.

The EK is so unattractive. I will have no memory. No happiness of what I did or am going to do.

Who wants to be EK?

Not I....
